1920's Accessories

The necessity of the times brought along with it the creation of accessories for women! Cigarette cases and/or cigarette holders became available and useful jewelry (such as perfume scent bottles on rings) were the "in" thing. Fishnet or incredibly shiny, but affordable rayon stockings hit the stores. And, evening time found ladies sporting headbands with feathers, 18" gloves and large strands of pearls. Coco Chanel made sun bathing popular that Jean Patou invented the first sun tan oil called Chaldee. Speaking of sun bathing - did you know it is necessary to re-apply your sunscreen often while you are sun tanning to prevent "accidental" sun burning? It's a good idea to think about a moisturizing cream with a sunscreen factor.
