Go Go Dancer Costume

Psychedelic was the thing in the 1960's! And, nothing represented the flash of this era more than a go-go dress! If you're looking for a good one, popular colors were pastels (greens and pinks and yellows), all swirled into an eye-popping design. Accessorize that dress with vinyl go-go boots and a matching vinyl hat and you're ready to do some groovin'! What is go-go? Around the time hip-hop started, jazz artist Chuck Brown began rapping to enraptured crowds. Percussion drums and congas would play a specific type of funk beat which eventually became full songs. Hence, go-go was born.
