Accessories for renaissance costumes

Renaissance clothing accessories included hair ornately trimmed with flowers and ribbons. Velvet veils with tri-pointed caps were also common. Queens often wore lace veils under their jeweled crowns or tiaras. Put on some boot tops to add to the Knights costume, as they will give your pants that tucked-in look. Sandals are a good accompaniment for both peasant men and women in the renaissance era. A lot of nobility wore "collar" jewelry. These pieces satisfied the need to display one's nobility and bearing. They are large and heavy and, in today's world, I believe they would be called "necklaces"!
