Renaissance costumes for a medieval or renaissance wedding

Choosing wedding renaissance costumes is really quite simple as white was not a traditional color for brides in that era. Either a renaissance queen or princess costume would be acceptable as brides draped themselves in heavy brocades and velvets which were rich, jewel-toned colors like burgundy or hunter greens. Wedding veils were often replaced by headwear. Want to create a satin floral halo? Take 28 gauge wire and shape into the desired size halo. Wrap ribbon roses and ceramic tulips around it and hold them in place with floral tape. Tuck tulip leaves in between flowers and wire. Glue to hold. Finally, wind white floral tape around the piece making sure to cover all the wire and glue!
