Crafting burnt patches

To create the impression of burnt skin, begin by applying costume makeup using a sponge to pat on a thin layer of liquid latex to the area. Then, allow latex to dry completely (for the look of thicker skin in the burned area, use more latex). When several layers of latex are applied it gives a "deep wrinkle" effect. Roll back parts of the latex to replicate the peeling, roughen look of burnt skin. Tint with foundations and cream liners. Gently dab maroon, blue and black cream liner around the burn. For a gorier look, add stage blood. Do you know the categories of burns? A first degree burn is superficial with characteristics similar to a sun burn. Second degree burns are similar to first degree but causes blistering and more intense pain. Third degree burns have progressed to the point of skin death where skin is white and without sensation.
