Hints on creating special effects

For scars and sores, combine pink or green face tissue with corn syrup. Want to create a facial hair look? Gross as it may sound, you can use the hair from your hairbrush and attach with double stick tape or eyelash adhesive. (Me - I spend my extra change for a hairy makeup kit!) For plain old blood, combine red food color and corn syrup. Drip blood where you want it, while being careful not to smear the edges. Be sure to give it plenty of time to dry. Remember not to wipe your face as evening wares on or you might end up looking like a clown instead! For blood, guts and gore, try red food color, corn syrup, and chunky peanut butter. (Again, I think I would prefer "buying" my blood!)
