Costume Trunks for Playing Dress Up

Encourage your child's flight of imagination by creating a dress-up box or trunk to provide hours of creative dress up and "castles in the sky" playtime! Here are a few ideas to help complete their fantasies: Capes, vests and aprons... Gloves, belts and hats... Purses, costume jewelry, fake flowers and feathers. Add some adult size clothing and pieces of fabrics. Don't forget accessories like furry boas, pom-poms, tassels and sunglasses. By the way, why not give a dress up party! Here are a few ideas for the invitations: Fancy hats shapes with real feathers and beads attached. Create a cutout of a clothes wardrobe with doors that open to the invite or even perhaps a collage of glamorous photos from magazines or catalogs. Use your imagination, Mom!
