Making a child knight costume

If you aren't into the suit of armor - consider attending your Halloween party as a "casual" Medieval Knight. A casual (and much more comfortable) knight costume can include simple pants, a long, loose shirt and a simple hood with a collar. Think of what a Knight might have worn while hanging out at the local tavern. If you want to go higher end, consider a tunic made of a richer material like velvet. In this case, you might also want to consider a cape, a faux jeweled belt for the waist, and wide loose boot tops. Loosely belt a sword to your costume and you are armed for a (k)night of partying!
