We were all kids once. Remember? We all had dreams and aspirations about what we were going to be when we grew up, regardless of how realistic or attainable those dreams really were. Honestly, how many people really go on in life to be Batman, a lion tamer or even Evel Knievel for that matter.
It never hurts to dream big, and one of the great things about being a kid was that when you were inclined to be a certain thing you would bug your mom over and over and over again until she would buy you that little kid’s costume. Then, and only then could you role-play all the great things that would come with being a grown up.
So why not encourage your little Navy Admiral, Nurse or NASCAR driver to follow their dreams with a kid’s costume that lets them dream big. Having a ‘What I want to be When I Grow Up Party’ is a great way to let a child explore their creativity and let their imaginations run wild.
Let them dress up in a kid’s costume that represents those big ideas and even bigger ambitions. But be prepared. Because kids are kids, there’s a good chance you could throw one of these themed parties two or three times a year and they’d want to be something new every time.
In fact, thinking about this kind of party just may have you wishing you could recapture those carefree days of youth when the sky was the limit. Maybe at the next kid’s costume party the grown ups ought to dress up as a little kids, just so everyone knows what they want to be when they grow up.
