Greek and Roman mythology is full of heroes, including Zeus, Apollo, Dionysus, Neptune and Jason and the Argonauts to name just a few. Your son can imitate these heroes this Halloween with a Boy's Greek-Roman Costume.

Greek/Roman

Greek myth attempts to explain the world and details the lives and adventures of a wide variety of gods, goddesses heroes, heroine and mythical creatures. Zeus is the"Father of Gods and men" who rules the Olympians of Mount Olympus as a father rules the family. He is the god of sky and thunder. His Roman counterpart is Jupiter, thought to have originated as a sky god. His identifying implement is the thunderbolt, and his primary sacred animal is the eagle. Your son can pretend to do battle with sea serpents, two headed birds and dragons. He may want to also pretend he is a Roman Centurion commanding a 100 men has he defends the Roman Empire against its enemies or a Roman Gladiator who must fight to the death against his Roman brother.
